Back on the Air SATURDAY

February 14th 2008

I’m excited to say that Left of the Dial will be back on the air with my first show of the semester this Saturday at 11:00 AM on WQAQ.  Be sure to tune in because I have tons of new music to play (Los Campesinos!, Vampire Weekend, Stephen Malkmus and the Jicks, Nada Surf, and The Magnetic Fields just to name a few) as well as old favorites.

Also, there’s the chance of a Left of the Dial pre-show at 10:30, so tune in for that as well.

To listen to the stream, click on the How to Listen tab at the top of the page or travel over to WQAQ.com for streaming instructions.

Direct your comments and feedback to the station’s AIM screenname: WQAQDJ.

See you then!

Back on the Air Soon

February 2nd 2008

Hi everyone.

Quinnipiac started the spring semester and the good folks at WQAQ are working hard to get the station up and running!  Left of the Dial should be back on the air fairly soon.

There’s a lot of exciting things I have planned for this semester – tons of new music and some special surprises I’m working on as well.

Two quick technical things to leave you with.  I’ve moved Left of the Dial to this address and it’s let me do some different things with the wordpress system.  For instance, you can “subscribe” to the Left of the Dial blog to get e-mailed when I post something new.

Also, I have a request.  If you have a wordpress theme that you think would work well for this blog, let me know.  I’m open to a lot of different designs as long as the theme is simple (2 – 3 columns so that it’s easy to read) and “widget aware.”  If you know of any good themes (or a place to find some) I’d appreciate it.

See you soon

BW
